Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on practice that works with the body’s natural rhythms to release tension and support healing. With light, soothing touch, it calms the nervous system, eases pain, and invites deep relaxation and balance.
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on practice that works with the body’s natural rhythms to release tension and support healing. Using an extremely light, soothing touch—often no more than the weight of a nickel—the practitioner listens to the subtle movements of the craniosacral system, which includes the bones, tissues, and fluids surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

By tuning into these rhythms, areas of restriction or imbalance can be gently encouraged to release, allowing the body to restore its own natural harmony. This process calms the nervous system, eases pain, improves mobility, and supports overall vitality.

Many people experience deep relaxation during a session, as the body shifts out of “fight or flight” and into “rest and restore.” Craniosacral therapy can be supportive for stress, headaches, chronic pain, trauma recovery, sleep disturbances, and emotional well-being, as well as for maintaining balance and wellness in everyday life.

What to Expect in a Craniosacral Therapy Session
During a craniosacral session, you’ll remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a massage table. Using a very light, gentle touch, I will tune into the natural rhythms of your body, feeling for areas of tension, restriction, or imbalance. The touch is soothing and non-invasive—often no more than the weight of a nickel.

Many people experience a deep sense of relaxation, warmth, or gentle release during the session. Some notice subtle shifts in their body, like softening, tingling, or unwinding. Others simply rest quietly, sometimes even falling asleep.
Each session is unique, guided by your body’s own pace and needs. Afterward, you may feel lighter, calmer, more balanced, and deeply refreshed.
