This nurturing treatment blends traditional abdominal massage with the ancient healing wisdom of the Maya, as passed down through Don Elijio Panti and Miss Hortense, and carried forward by Dr. Rosita Arvigo.

Through gentle, precise touch, the therapy helps guide abdominal and pelvic organs back into optimal alignment, improving circulation of blood, lymph, nerve flow, and energy throughout the body. This can ease congestion, release tension, and support your body’s natural ability to restore balance and vitality. Many clients also find it helps to soften long-held emotional and energetic patterns stored in the belly and pelvis.

  • Spinal and back work to encourage proper alignment

  • Guidance in a simple self-care abdominal massage, so you can continue supporting your body between sessions

 

You may also receive recommendations for supportive practices, such as:

  • Faja – a traditional abdominal support wrap

  • Bajos – Mayan herbal pelvic steam baths

  • Castor oil packs

  • Lifestyle and wellness suggestions

 

 

For most conditions, a series of 3 professional sessions is recommended. Clients who practice the self-care massage at home often notice faster, longer-lasting improvements.
